I'm going to start off kind by saying it was okay. Much, much better than your past work but still under what I would expect from a *filming guild*. Personally, I hated both the songs you used, just full out thought they were horrible. Luckily for you, that's all personal opinion. Something that bugged me about it was it seemed every other clip was increased in speed and a lot of the cinematics were laggy. Some of it seemed a tad sloppy but pretty well synched.
One thing that makes me laugh out loud, why do you need donations? What do you mean by funding a film? Are the leaders of Tyria and Cantha charging you to film on their land now? Certainly actors/actresses don't cost anything. Don't say that "it takes time out of farming to make videos" thing like others do either. Oh yes, and by the way this isn't your first time asking for donations like you said at the end of the video. Why do you all want money out of this? Sheesh.
Ok first of all, im sure you couldve exported that vid with better qaulity and with lower size, because the quality of the vid was very poor.
That vid felt ok in the beginning, but then it was just getting repetitive. Showing charr, and destroyed citys wasn't that great. The video also got very annoying, it was so repetitive. The Slow motion and fast motion was kinda lame as well. The warriors and Assassin's dancing at the end was more enjoyable that the whole vid.
wow i dont know how u guys can look at it so badly when even zack looked at it as a very good film...speeding up and slowing down clips keeps them proply in scinc wile there was in fact TWO laggy demo peices in that film so there wernt all laggy and lag cannot be helped...and finaly NO! there was no way at all i could have got better quality...as it is it is something like 45mb's in size and i had endless trouble uploading it...
P.S. ask any filmer and they will tell you it is actuly a VERY money takeing thing because with some films you need to buy dye sometimes yes u do need to buy actors in places like lions arch i know of filmers who have payed a group to fight him to a specific place in FoW...the list goes on...from byeing new armor for actors to dyeing that armor it adds up to a fair amount of g so yes i am asking for some donations as that film i belive cost me along the lins of 60k...thats alot to me but not to some people out there who may thinck thats a stupid amount to be worried over...so yes i would be greatful for any donations
It's a good video. As mentioned though, you could have left the quality a bit higher and found a way to save space. The scenes for the most part fit the music, so once again Nice Job.
Ask any filmer? I'm a self-proclaimed filmer (Guild Wars, World of Warcraft, Halo 1/2, Counter-Strike, etc.) and I believe it's possible to make films without spending a single gold. You shouldn't have to pay people to want to be in your video, that's no fun. You have a whole guild to help you, you have to pay them? And if they don't help you then what's so great about a *filming guild*. The whole "I need money to make movies" goes no where.
Now I'm not trying to be one bit harsh or unfair but a lot of the things you say just don't make sense to me.

Lag CAN be helped if you maximize your computer (top-notch running), close all other programs, and have a fairly decent ISP (Internet Service Provider). still have lag? Then it's a poor quality computer and in that case I guess there's nothing for YOU to do about it except upgrade or make/buy a new one.

He's in your guild, talks to you everyday, plays with you in the game, and you're just about his biggest fan as far as I can see on the forums. You could the worse possible video and he would still like it... you even have done it and he DID like it. While on the other hand, we're merciless souls looking for a good, let alone decent video. If we take six minutes out of our lives then we want something good to do with it. If we don't like what we see, well then that's it.
You can't say someone's point of view is wrong. It's their opinion and the way they view something, it's all personal opinion. Thanks to personal beliefs you don't need a to read a single thing I just said, and you don't need to even agree with it.
Good film, like I said but could have been better.
Good film, I loved it!!! But I got to agree, to spend money on actors is not necessary to make a good movie, I mean, i havent made so many good movies, but Ive made them, without spending 1 gold...
But still, asking for donations is understandable, spesificly if you choose to spend money on making the movie...
Once again, I loved it, great movie.. Cinda depressing to watch Seth, since your leaving and all:S GL!!!!
guys come on, TC puts all their effort into their films, and just because there past work is the best known, doesnt mean their future work should be insulted.
( as for me being kicked from TC, you guys probably think that i would be commenting bad about every movie but hey, it wasn't my choice to go)

Actually no Seth, I was actually one of the more active players in TC, they kicked me because they said I "ruffled alot of peoples feathers", and the said that I was in a mission with TC and excel said I rage quit the mission, but I had to go..

i dont like the vid that much, but its not bad... THE CREDITS ROCK!!! cool music and the necro part i well done!!! very good! any1 know that number that in the credits?
This video was definitely average. About a 5.4 out of 10. The creativity was OK like how you all synchronized together, that was cool, but the rest were pretty much just clips from cinematic cutscenes. The credits were pretty good but at the end the names faded in and out so fast you couldn't read them. Sorry, but based on this video, I would not even consider donating to your next video.
dude tell me another way i could film ascolon being destroyed without filming the cutesenes...god why does no one use there head beffor makeing negative comments

Booooooooooooooooooooring... not only did you forget to check duplicates of people's names, but also SPELL check. Poor, poor, poor quality to the video. You got me going for the first 40 seconds then it all was all down hill.

Now, now, now... no reason to go on a bloody screaming rampage because a few people didn't like your video. We're not stealing each other's complaints, we just all feel somewhat the same way about your video. It was missing the certain edge it takes to look like a decent video. The poor video quality, along with a few spelling errors, and a bunch of clips that were over-effected kinda of set off the video from itself. Not to mention your personality is starting to fry the video considering you're lashing out at everyone who doesn't like it.

Sethron you have to learn to take criticism. I swallowed my pride when someone told me Real Guild Wars episode 1 was the most pathetic thing he ever saw, but I improved on that. As for my opinion on this movie.... I will keep to myself. Just try to make it less repetitive next time...

So he isnt that good at spellin.. you understood what he said right? If i would edit every spelling error i saw in posts on the forums i would kill myself.. if you are on international forums you have to accept some people's spelling errors.. and some people just arent good at spelling but maybe wish they were, but just cant help it.. Criticism isnt a bad thing but dont criticise people on spelling.
Just think of what i said when you see a spelling error on the site next time.. learn to ignore them, it will make forums a lot more fun.
and i can accept the critasisum but as fea said...im not the best of spellers...and at 16 i was actuly takeing extra lessons in witch to improve my spelling so dont say i could try better with that...and secondly why the hell has so many people commented on the poor quality of the film when i have explained why that is and that there WAS NOT any way that i could improve upon that...dispite what others may think...as it is its 45mbs in size...imajin that at the sorta quality ur expectin...also try to consider that at max graphics it was ganna take just over a day to transfer in to a movie file...it was something like 25 hours 23mins and im sorry but i just dont have that sorta time to waist makeing 1 film just so a few people can see a picture a bit better
so many ppl complain about the quality because it definitely effects the joy of the person who watches it.
I think it's a nice movie with lots of sync and clips which fit nicely to the lyrics! But it misses something to make it something special... (don't ask me what ^^)
about donations... well the filmer has all the power to make it cost a lot or nothing.
Seth doesn't need to accept the critisicm because there is no appropriate critism to be shared in this video. It was a high standard video, sethron's big video is this one, its got all the things most peoples' videos don't have. + seth, great job on the fades, I hate how some people stop the music right away. And sethron, Does 50k sound like a generous donation? its been a logn time seth, give me you IGN and ill have the 50k delivered to you as soon as possible :)
