thats why i would recommend Windows Movie Maker :-) ... Premiere is too advanced for video editing newbies (not offencive ;) )
... either that or just use the buildt in Encoder called Adobe Media Encoder <3
id take Movie Maker for the editing though... Media Encoder settings can be a pain and takes loads of tries to get the right compression; smallest size without losing TO much quality and detail.
It took me 2 years to master Premiere and i wouldnt expect anyone new to Premiere to handle it without a problem.
I'm sure there are loads of Tutorials on the net that might help you get to learn it.
