Once you are in the Desert, the world is teaming with bosses with excellent elites you can capture.
Alot of the missions are tricky do without a good group so don't make yourself have to return later. It's worth noting an interesting inbalance that applies when capturing - If you capture a skill the rule about one Elite on your skill bar does not apply until you return to town. So if you have one elite in your bar and you take two signets and capture two elites, you can have three elite skills on the skillbar, allowing for some unusual combinations for just teh remainder of the missions.
