Description

An essential but often overlooked feature of the Guild Wars user interface is that of highlighting hotspots. Use your left [Alt] and [Ctrl] keys to make labels appear for any object, person, or NPC you can interact with -- even through obstacles!

In Town:

Holding the [Ctrl] key makes the clickable name labels of all player characters within radar range appear on your screen. All player character labels are blue. This is a great way to find that person you're trying to trade with.

Holding the [Alt] key will highlight the clickable name labels of all NPC characters including all merchants, traders, collectors, and quest-givers. All NPC name labels are green. This will also highlight object labels and signposts, which appear in yellow.

Outside:

Holding the [Ctrl] key makes the clickable name labels of all enemies within radar range appear on your screen. All enemy labels are red. This is a must for targeting during a battle!

Holding the [Alt] key will highlight the clickable name labels of all PC allies and all NPC characters including collectors and quest-givers. This will also highlight the name labels of dropped loot in white. All of your teammates' name labels appear in green. All NPC name labels are also green. This will also highlight object labels and signposts, which appear in yellow.
