This doesn't really have anything to do with the game, but it is a tip that can be extremely helpful to your game indirectly.
When posting in this or any website, be courteous. All of the other users are human, too, and can form opinions of you based on your threads. You will generally get a more courteous response to any questions you might have, and usually they're more helpful too.
Another good booster is good spelling and punctuation, which can be achieved even if you're terrible at writing. Just write your post on a word processor, then cut-and-paste it. If you can't think of a word, use the word processor's thesaurus to find one.
Finally, don't just post to say "come on, guys, answer me!"
It doesn't help you; it actually makes people less inclined to help you.
