| Description |
Weapon swapping is an important part of any fighting. Hitting warriors with elemental damage, but switching to your vampiric for soft targets will overall increase your DPS. Or your zealous for regaining energy. However, one thing that most people notice when they first try weapon swapping is that it 'doesn't take right away'. This is because you're already doing something, so if you attack and keep pressing the weapon swap button, nothing will happen until you stop attacking. Likewise if you are spell casting like crazy you're dealing with aftercast and other such stuff. To eliminate the lag time between your weapon swaps:
[Cancel Action] (Default Escape)
[Weapon Swap Number] (Default F1-F4)
Then you're free to do anything. If playing a caster, you can go directly from that instant weapon swap to casting a spell. If playing a physical damage dealer, press your [Do Action/Attack] button (default space bar).
Pressing cancel action allows you to keep your weapon swap time down to nothing, so it doesn't actually effect your non swapping time and allows you to be more effective.
