Description

There are three types of skills in this game. The ones that make plays such as interrupts, damage, deep wounds and blinds. The ones that buff your bar like attunements, glyphs, stances and enchantments. The ones that are bad, like overly conditional or easily ended skills. Go through your build. Which does each one fit into? If it doesn't buff your team or your bar and it doesn't make plays it is a bad skill and there is a better skill you can take to make yourself more effective.

Look at all your skills again. What does each one do? Don't just read aloud the skill debion, what does it do in battle? For instance, Jagged Strike. It is meant to start my combo and deal DoT. Ok so what other skills do that same perpuse, but better. There is Golden Fox strike, Golden Lotus Strike, Black Mantis Thrust, Black lotus Strike, Disrupting stab, iron palm and dancing daggers. Golden lotus, black lotus, disrupting stab and iron palm all have too high of a recharge, so they aren't better choices. Dancing Daggers makes you have to go into deadly arts quite a lot to make effective so that's not better. That leaves Golden Fox and Black Mantis Strike. Most combos cannot avoid using a hex or enchantment because they buff the bar itself. This means that Golden and Black are probably the best options for this bar over jagged strike because it deals armor ignoring damage AND it has a short recharge. Jagged Strike lacks the Armor ignoring damage. Just by doing that you have made your build better. Always looks for things like that. If you think something could be better, try it. It just might

Good luck!
