| Description |
Interupting is one of the most active and skill required actions in the game. It takes timing and relexes to catch skills, but beyond the obvious you have to know what to interupt. Most people jump and click to interupt as soon as they see someone start to cast and they end up trying to interupt a stance. It takes practice.
A good way to increase your relexes is to go to the Isle of the Nameless and go to the Master of Conditions. Take any mesmer interupt that can interupt skills, not spells only (for example, cry of frustation.). Now try to interupt the Student of Poison whenever he tries to use healing signet. keep track of how early you catch it, whether you catch it on the H or the L of healing.
With the latter training you will begin to relize something. He uses it at a certain point. You can predic when he will use it and can cast it early to get the interupt before he even gets to the H of healing. This is a small example of how people are predicable. If one enemy is taking damage, he's probably going to try to heal him. If a monk uses Glyph of lesser energy, he's probably going to try to use aegis next. If your team just killed someone, chances are they will try to res him. If you see some assassin rush in with dash, chances are when he gets within melee range he is going to try to use an attack skill. People are predicable. If you can foresee these actions interupting becomes a lot easier.
