| Description |
Heroes' Ascent is unlocked by having 5 consecutive victories in Random Arena, and 5 victories in Team Arenas, which don't have to be consecutive.
Upon arriving there, newer players will notice some people looking for ranked players, for example r3+. It is also common to see builds abbreviated to just a few letters (usually the elite of the build). For example, a monk using the elite skill Light of Deliverance would be known as an LoD Monk. I know I was very confused when I first visited there - I didn't have a clue what half of the abbreviations meant.
Heroes' Ascent isn't really 'new-user' friendly, and as a result can be a daunting aspect of the game to become involved with. Here's my tips on getting started and getting ranked:
- just spend around 10 minutes in a busy district watching local chat. Make note of popular builds.
- visit the Priest of Balthazar, here you can see every single skill in the game (assuming you have all 3 campaigns).
- if you get into a team and you think that you do well, add some of the team members to your friends list, let them know the next time you are making a team.
Good luck in Heroes' Ascent, I hope some of this helped. ;-)
