Did you know that you can get FoW armor in just around 2 weeks, without really 'spending' any money?
Well, I have realised that if you farm the UW with a fairly efficient, and fast build, such as the E/Me Terra Tank, for example, you can yield on average, around 6 ectos every 10 runs (a run being killing all of the Smite Crawlers within the Ice Wastes). You also recieve around 2k+ in cash, and sometimes gold items which can sell for 100k+ themselves - if you're lucky enough.
If you repeat this farm, by the time you have the 105/120 ectos that you need for your FoW armor, you will have more than enough cash to buy the shards needed, and if you have been lucky enough to recieve a rare weapon, you might even have some money spare!
This strategy means that you only have to farm one of the rare materials needed, and you can simply use the money from farming that material to buy the second; meaning that you never really 'lose' any money.
