Well first change your heroe's secondary that you want to use this with to ranger. Then equip them with "Charm Animal". Next go find a pet, the first ones you see are flamingos. Then click on charm animal on your hero's skill bar. Finally target a pet and use the skill, but make sure the other heroes are set on avoid combat. Rinse and repeat if you want.
