You can start a new temp character in Nightfall, just do the very first part, by the time you get into Kamadan you will have 500+ gold and 5 skill points. You can unlock skills for cheap on unknown character types this way, as skills cost 50, 70, 90 gold. It's a great way to give your heroes new skills for professions that you haven't played and unlocked all the skills for. One drawback, you can only get the skills which are available from the skill trainer in kamadan.
