For those of you that purchased the preorders for Nightfall and factions, I would like to point out a very easy and cheap way to equip most of your heroes, which could be rather expensive otherwise. I realized that you can get multiple of the same preorder item by equipping them to your heroes. When in your hands, they still count as being in your inventory, but when equipped by your heroes, they don't. So give all your caster heroes the insightful spiritbinder, the sin the daggers, the dervish the spear, and the paragon the scythe. This leaves only Koss and the ranger heroes to equip, and gives all your heroes relatively good max weapons. The staff is a very good generic staff, your casters will be getting the full benefit from it, though they will not be doing any damage just by attacking, which is fine, they are casters.
