This IS the easiest profesion to beat the Doppleganger with for one major reason. He likes to use skills correctly but slowly as if they are spells. Simply take a 7 or 8 point combo and have the first one be golden phenix strike and HOrns of the Ox. Then just have a very long powerful combo and he will be dead before you can finish the combo. Ez bonus + mission.
One major thing that some people don't know is that he knows how to use the horns of the ox falling spider combo correctly so he can finish the combo as well.
