This is something I used a lot in Ring Of Fire, especially when i had running to the Rider caps repeatedly and the Ettins bosses.
The first Mursaat Tower IS skippable. Simply click the wall to the left to it, right past, and your character will hug the wall to there, followed by henchies, with 0 deaths!
(NOTE: This often makes the Bows fan out, but no harm can be done. One of them even took out a trio of Drakes for me :D)
