A good strategy for the bonus mission of The Frost Gate, is to find Rornak Stonesledge and clear the path to him. Do NOT talk to him, simply clear the road all the way until you reach a ballista facing a door. When the road is cleared of enemies. talk to Rornak and follow him to the ballista to blast down the door.
