The most important tip I ccould ever give to anyone is simply this. "Make friends and try joining guilds".
And this is why. The game world can be very confusing place for new comers. Such as whats a good trade, wheres the next mission, can runes be stacked, etc... But having an online buddy that's whiling to give you a helping hand every now and then makes life alot easier and alot more fun.
So dont be afraid to just chat to people, ask questions, join groups, just act like you have a pulse and not a henchmen.
