Dual Charr Hunting Beginners 2
Author

Description

In order to hunt charr, both you can you partner should be about level 9-10. I will not explain how to get there because there are other guides for that. Now, in the pre-searing, smiting monks seem to be the dominators. If you walk around for a while in ascalon city, you will notice that mostly monks are the ones with rare colored armor and lots of money, and even sometimes selling rare items (rare to pre-searing). This is because they get all of this from farming charr. There are two ways to farm the charr. Both have its advantages and disadvantages.

The first way is to lure the charr back to the bridge. The NPCs that are there will help you fight the charr. The downside is that luring the charr that far can be dificult

The second way is to just fight them head on. You need a smite/heal and a heal/prot monk to fight them head on.

There are so little skills in pre-searing that you can just bring everything (if it fits) but you want to put the attributes different. The smiting should put most into smiting and the rest into either healing or divine favor (healing recomended). The healing monk should put most into healing and the rest can be into divine favor and prot however you want. I find this way the fastest.

I like to leave my character in pre-searing and just make a second character to go to post-searing. I will trade all my dyes to my friend. And he will trade them (along with whichever he wants to go to post) and that character will go to post. Then we distribute the dyes back in post.

Charrs so far have droped like 13 black dyes (been there about 2 months). So this is a good way to make money for post.

Have fun
