If you are weak and feel like you can buff up your character, go buy a Signet of Capture Signet and find a boss that has an Elite Skill that suits your primary or secondary profession and kill him. Once he is dead, use the Signet of Capture Signet on him and capture the skill you want.
Capture Signets in the Prophecies Campaign are found in Quarrel Falls onward and Capture Signets in the Factions Campaign are found in Kaineng Center onward.
If you do not wish to buy Capture Signets, you can do the quest, "Orrian Excavation," in Prophecies, or, "Capturing the Orrian Tome," in Factions. Once you finish the Orrian Excavation quest, you can do the Malaquire's Test quest to gain two Capture Signets total. When you finish the Capturing the Orrian Tome quest, you can do the Minister's Test quest to also gain two Capture Signets total. The quest Orrian Exacation can be found from Magi Malaquire from Lion's Arch and Capturing the Orrian Tome can be found from Minister Jaisan in Kaineng Center.
