when you plan on getting a new character, think which proffessions you want to give that character.
if you already have a character with one of those proffessions, buy all the good skills you plan on using with the new character at a skill vendor.
if you did enough quests with that character, you should have unlocked some more skills too.
then when you come post searing with your character, you should be able to buy all the skills you want from the vendor.
example:
i have a W/Mo, and i was planning on getting a bonder monk. so i bought spells such as life bond and blessed signet to provide my new monk with some good spells in the beginning.
warning: i advise you to stack some money in the storage (around 6K) and be around lvl 6-9 before going post searing though. you might come some skill points short.
