Are you a caster and not attack first? Well use this little button combo to have the henchmen attack first.
Left Shift + Left Ctrl + Space bar
While targeting a monster and are at least on the rim of your aggro circle. You should stay still while the henchmen will attack. Works very well when you are a caster.
