| Description |
If your running into unknown territory, always bring skills that remove conditions and hexes. These are vital to staying alive as long as possible.
Always make sure to bring skills that make you run faster (obviously). You can outrun most enemies in the game.
If using Endure Pain, use it only when your health is very low, but not so low as being an inch away from death. People often use this skill too early and missuse it, causing unnecessary death.
Monitor clusters of enemies. Most groups will follow a patrol path, or will spread out and regroup. Time it so you can run by without too much attention.
Only heal when you are out of aggro range of the enemy [groups]. For Rangers with Troll Unguent, cast this before running into/past an enemy group for short, quick healing.
The difference between a new and experienced runner is knowing your run path and foes you'll meet. If your running into an area where no conditions or hexes are given, don't use/bring skills that remove or counter them. Energy management is important in situations where it's needed the most.
Dead ends can also trap unwary players, so always pay attention.
Good Luck Running!
