An Alternative Elementalist Build Strategy
Author
Lunarman
Description

This is a build which I use very often for my E/W although it should work for any primary elementalist.

This build is very good for sustaining a lot of damage whilst dealing a lot to groups of enemies.

Firstly set your earth magic to max and supplement this with a superior rune of earth magic and a Stone's eye. This should give you 16 earth magic. Set any other points you have to Energy Storage and something else (not magic). For my E/W I use up some points on Tactics so that healing signet heals well. It also helps to use a major rune of vigor to up your health. If you have the money a weapon that increases health is a big plus.

Your Skills should be like this:

Stone Daggers-

For dealing cheap/quick damage when you're low on energy. A kind of defult attack.

Earth Attunement-

Gives you back some energy if you are low.

Kinetic Armour-

Provides tons of armour for withstanding damage as long as you keep on casting spells.

Obsidian Flame-

Useful for doing tons of damage to one foe, so normally a healer or a boss. It's quite cheap too.

Earthquake-

This skill rocks! It can do major damage to a large group of enemies and stop their advance for a few seconds, very useful to do lots of long range damage.

Armour of Earth-

this is another damage resisting skill, use it when you're going in close.

Crystal Wave-

Get in close and use this skill, the fact that it ignores armour makes it very useful to bust through large groups of foes.

(Skill of your choice)

It is advisable to take a restorative skill for slot 8. It like to use Healing Signet but a glyph of energy or a life draining skill is useful too. This skill should be from your second profession.

How to Use: When you first sight a large group of enemies (or a tough battle) use Earth Attunement. Then cast Earthquake into the middle of the group. This should do a load of damage, before they get too close cast Kinetic Armour followed by Armour of Earth. If you've got plenty of energy left then cast Obsidian flame on the Healer/boss/major damage dealer. You can get in close if you like a cast Crystal Wave to finish quite a lot of foes off. If there are any monsters left then use Stone Daggers or attack until they are dead.

P.S. This is my first tip so I apologize if it is not very helpful.
