When you first start playing Guild Wars, talk to all the NPC's in towns and outposts, they give you quests and helpful information on Hidden Quests.
Always explore the Pre Searing Map to better know your sorroundings and enemies.
When choosing Secondary profession, make sure you know that is the profession you want to become.
If you're having trouble finding something, or can't get to a place, ask for help at the nearest town or outpost, someone will try to help you if they can.
Don't waste Dye on your clothes. Save it for later, maybe you will get lucky when selling it after the Searing.
If you're using a Ranger, try to stay at high ground to inflict more damage on the enemy, when possible.
Don't rush things. Go through Pre Searing slowly, to better know what fighting style and enemies.
