Blast, I really could have used that computer......on a good side, I am getting an upgrade....my dad is upgrading his comp for work, and I'm getting some of his old parts. Going from a AMD 3000+ processor, to an AMD FX-57, and an x1600 graphics card to a 7800GTX graphics card. :)
Just curious, do you have a socket 939 CPU? the max one you can get is a FX-60. I am looking for one. Cant find one for under $400. I too have a AMC 64 3000+ and am looking to max out this board.
Actually, mine is socket 754, I'm getting my dads motherboard since he's getting the quad-core(Q6700) >.<......
I actually plan on upgrade to AM2 socket with one of AMD's dual core chips, which has better performance than the FX-60, and for a cheaper price.....processor, motherboard and ram, I can upgrade to the right stuff for as little as $300. Though I gotta find a job first.
