As I'm sure all of you who tried to post on the GameAmp forums this weekend noticed, we have been having some problems with things not showing up on the site. The "Powers that Be" have been working on this all weekend long. The problem seems to have been with our servers. And honestly I don't understand enough when they use that "tech speak" with me to be able to comprehend what happened.
I do know that the forums are working again, you can post comments on submitted things again, and you can send PMs again. They are still looking into what caused this problem, so there may be times today that you see some funkiness going on. Please report this funkiness on this news post so we have it all in one place that is easy to check.
A few things that I did want you to know though. If you posted something this weekend and are not seeing it on the site, it is gone. Also, if you have your profile set up to email you when there is a reply to a post, you will not be receiving it. The email system for that has been shut down temporarily. I will try to keep everyone updated if we have to bring the site down again via the comments of this news post.
We probably get a bit spoiled by how well things run that we take for granted what a complex task keeping everything running smoothly is. Thanks and hope you do not run out of aspirin. ;)
i'm so happy i can do my administrative iron fist duties again! that was so frustrating trying to reply to that "what do you have on your ipod while CoHing" and not being able to. you go "powers"!
