But who is he really?
“The Beano Exclusive” is an interview I had with the man behind the mask.
This interviews intention is to give you a little bit more insight on who he really is.
I had the honor in speaking with
TheBeano earlier this afternoon.
After finally being able to catch him online…
I’d like to be the first to introduce you to:

Style: PvE-Preferred. Although, Future outlook in HoH.
Guild: Commanders of Chaos (CoC)
Routine: "I'm not a title hound.
I don't get tons of time to play,
so I prefer just to head out with guildies
and do what we can."
The Interview
“Lol… life of a teacher, it keeps me busy enough”.
You’re a teacher? What Subject?
“Science”
Ahhh, I slept during science all the time during School…
“Too bad…best subject around :)”
Personally, I loved my business multimedia class this year. Got to play around and learn Dreamweaver, InDesign, and Photoshop again. =)
“Woot…I love Photoshop and Dreamweaver”.
*There was a small intervention as we moved to the CoC guildhall. I noticed his Legendary Delver title…*
Hehe, I fail at Eotn Titles
“OH…Snowman farming FTW”
This (Legendary Vanquisher) is my only accomplishment lately /doh.
“Nice…that’s one I’ll get someday…When I get to play more :)”
Hehe, I just sacrificed sleep for it :p
“Yeah…I can’t teach when I’ve had not enough sleep”
True :) Btw, I like your armor.
“Thanks…Asuran…This is my 2nd set of 15k…not a big fan of the FoW stuff… Although, I have the ectos for it…”
Hehe, I gotta admit, ele male is one of the few that look good with the icy/lava gloves.
“Yup! I love those gloves; the Destroyer Gauntlets were really worth it…and a fair bit of work”
Most folks put it on Warrior. Warrior armor just doesn’t…mesh right imo.
“My warrior was my first character, but this guy’s my love (in the game of course) *checks over shoulder to see if wife is watching*”
Hahaha! I like it though, you made him well :)
“Over 32 months and counting… I’m a big fan of creating outlandish characters…”
*While standing in the CoC guildhall speaking with TheBeano… I got to meet a fellow member of his guild: Dracyal…who says he “rode the short necro bus.” Was a good laugh meeting him…but on with the interview...*
Beano was nice enough to share with me, that “we don’t take things too seriously here at CoC.” We spent some more time just goofing around with Dracyal and learning that they have an “(inside joke) with Master Togo” involved.
Haha, well Togo is fun to make jokes outta :p
“Him and Shiro are prime for that.”
I figured this was as good as time as any to ask: What’s CoC about? “Welll….PG version?”
Haha, probably better
“OK…real version stand for Commanders of Chaos…but it’s really a play on our Guild Leader’s Name, K N U T S is his name…The guild itself is full of very experienced GW players and friends…It started in Dec of 2005…by Lt Delta (insert Forest Gump accent here) and shortly after K N U T S joined. I joined in January. Bunch of em have met in RL too”
Dracyal added: “We are pretty quiet most times…we are on TS mostly…kind of a guild quo."
Oh TS, people say I sound British so I stopped talking on that –lawl.
“I won’t hold that against you… :) being that I’m Canadian and all… :)”
Dracyal: “I’ll only hold it against the piglet in the shadows in the corner”
So, what kind of games you play? –Anything besides GW? “I played Medal of Honor: Allied Assault as my first, virginal, online experience…Played with a clan called -*{OcP}*- we held a few number 1 spots on various ladders. When MOHAA went downhill, we mostly disbanded…one of the clanmates came over here to CoC with me…I’ve played a bunch of other stuff from HL and HL2 to Team Fortress 2. Just finished enjoying Portal. Also rediscovered Knights of the Old Republic 2- I love Star Wars”
Hehe, my GameStop friend, Brian, keeps telling me to play Portal
“You NEED to play Portal”
I already play too many games thou! I’m in the middle of another FF :p
“I can’t handle too many games at once. I’ve got too much going on in RL”
I bet :)
So, do you play pve, pvp or both? “PvE mostly…almost exclusively…we um don’t get along well, PvP and I… My goal, before GW2 comes out, is to win HoH so… anybody out here willing for a great Ele to tag along, just tell me where to sign up. I’m not a title hound though. I don’t get tons of time to play, so I prefer just to head out with guildies and do what we can. ”
I get persistent when I’m working on a title as of late.
“I’m one title away from KoaBD, might be in the offing before GW2 comes out!
Well is there anything else you want people to know about ya, I think we have a fair amount of info :p “My favorite character name is “Gassy Was Beano” –my rit. Works on so many levels...I got nothing…creativity isn’t one of my stronger points – especially the day after a long weekend.”
