So alot of you may read some of my posts and you're thinking, wow another guy who thinks hammers are good. Well they are, and once you find a good hammer warrior build they usually work quite well. They're often alot of fun and a definite new thing to try. The newest build I've created for a hammer W/Mo is a great one, and the best I've used so far. If you're still reading this far, you're probably one of those people who has tried a knockdown/aftershock build. My only comment towards them is that I've never found one that actually seems to work; the knockdown/aftershock build is like communism, in theory it works but in practice it never seems to work quite as well. So I figured that those of you who are sick of the knockdown/aftershock build that you might want this guide and might enjoy it. So I've decided I'm going to help everyone out by telling them of a great build, so far it is excellent in PvE and ettin farming, but that's just my opinion. First we need to get point allocations out of the way.
Healing 8
Hammer Mastery 15
Strength 12
Basically I use full knights armor, and have hammer mastery all the way up to 12 + a Sup of Hammer Mastery, then I have a minor of strength on my helm, so that the helm with the minor adds 2 strength. Unfortunately at the moment I do not have the stonefist gauntlets, so this combo works well for the most part, however when I get the gauntlets I expect for this build to be much better, because I already have a lot of success with this build, even without the gauntlets. Now for skills.
I use...
Healing Breeze
Mending
Devastating Hammer (Elite)
Mighty Blow
Heavy Blow
Crushing Blow
Sprint
Berserker's Stance
To use this build, you start up Berserker's Stance until all your adrenal skills are charged, then hit in this exact order Devastating -> Mighty -> Heavy -> Crushing.
Sprint you can use to get out of a nasty situation, and Healing Breeze and Mending help to keep yourself alive. Well everyone, I'm happy I could share my build with you and hopefully you all enjoy it. In my next guide, I plan to try to do a W/N hammer or axe warrior, seeing as I've got a few extra axes lying around to play with.
