Im one of teh pvp guys out there with most liking to the mesmer profession and heres one of my builds
Me/N
Attributes:
Fast casting: 6(+1)
Domination Magic:12(+2)
Inspiration Magic: 6(+1)
Death magic: 10
Armor
Imposing Mask
Echanter's Attire
Echanter's Gloves
Echanter's Hose
Echanter's Footwear
I take a minor rune on each armor piece and a sup vigor
Weapon:
I use the Staff
Energy +10
Chaos dmg 11-22 (req. 9 Domination Magic)
Improves casting speed using Domination Magic skills (chance 20%)
Improves skill recharge using Domination magic skills (chance 20%)
and i put a Hale staff head on (+30 health) and a fortitude wrapping (+30)
Skills:
Energy Tap: Target foe loses 5 energy and you gain 2 points of each energy lost
Spirit of failure: for 30 secs target foe has a 25% chance of missing each time target foe miss you gain 3 energy
Consume corpse: Teleport to corpse and gain 75 Health and 15 energy
Energy burn: target foe loses 10 energy and takes 8 damage for each point lost
Energy surge: Target foe loses 10 energy and all nearby and target foe takes 8 damage for each point lost
Mind wrack: For 20 secs the next time target foes energy drops to 0 that foe takes 85 damage
Signet of weariness: Target foe and all nearby foes lose 10 energy
Res sig: to res dead allies
So now your skills, health and energy should look like this:
This is how i play with this build
- I start off by casting Spirit of failure on a
ranger/warrior or any other weapon using enemy
- Then cast Mind wrack on target (monks are best to keep
down on 0 energy) followed up by an energy surge keep
using an energy draining skill until you see he lost the
Mind wrack hex or when you see the 85 Damage
- And of course res your dead allies using res signet
This build should deal a nice little damage and if good played can make a monk totally useless most pvp players make the Energy surge mesmer target an other monk than the one the spikers attack
