[Introduction]
Someone told me once that eles suck because they can't solofarm. Well, since i love my ele i decided to create a farmingbuild anyway, and here it is so... in your face whoever it was that told me that. (this is for desert griffons)
[Attributes/skills]
fire/earth build
attributes:
earth 10 (1 minor rune)
energy storage:11 (1 minor rune)
firemagic 12 (1 major rune)
healing prayrs: 8
skills: elemental attunement, aura of restoration, fireball, flame burst, inferno, kinetic armor, magnetic aura, healing breeze
[Gameplay]
ok, so you stand in the heat of the desert, sweating your arse off, lost, thirsty and houngry. And what happens? a bunch of smelly old griffons stand between you and where you want to go. Well fear not my fellow elementalist, here is how you solve the situation.
step 1 Cast elemental attunement, you now have 40 secs to kill them all!.
step 2 aggro the mobs using fireball then use magnetic aura followed by restoration and kinetic armor.
step 3 start wamming away with flameburst, and inferno which makes them run, usually all but 1 runs off for a sec. Throw fireball at the cowards. repeat step 3.
[strategy]
things to keep in mind while building ur strategy, as i said b4 u only have 40 secs b4 elemental attunement wears off. after that you quickly run out of energy, so dont use it to early b4 aggroing mobs, but make sure its the first skill to cast. Mobs run off a bit after you cast inferno, (all cept 1 in my case) use this to ur advantege to perhaps renew a prot spell or cast healing breeze.
I have found that there usually a griffon straggeling behind who loves to come and make you his bitch after the fight when you are low on e,(those cowards). thats why magnetic aura´shuld be the first spell to be cast after you aggro the mobs. This way it has time to recharge for if/when that last guy comes.and if he do, cast it again and fire your staff to taunt himas he tryes to hit you in vain, and as the griffons frustration grows so does your energy, and soon he is dead.
note: this build works for melee enemys ONLY! (like griffons or minotaurs) killed 7 grifffons at the same time, the 8:th one who came a bit later finished me off as my e was depleted. anyway, kinetic armor only works against melee.. so... also stay clear of enchanment breakers or ur days are numbered.
[last words]
well. some of you found this usefull and not only differcult to read crap. i know i like the build, and often use it (with some minor changes) whenever im not playing as a nuker.
thanks and cya
