Now most of us know that the Fissure of Woe is one of the toughest areas in Guild Wars and only accessible through Temple of the Ages when your region has favor. Also, it costs 1k to enter the place. You can farm most of the Fissure of Woe when u have 3 monks in the party.
Here are what the party should look like:
Tank (W/Mo) - any type of build as long as Bonetti's Defense/Wary Stance and possibly Mending are included in skills.
If a tank has Mark of Protection then this will help him in certain situations (or another party member)
Nuker (E/Me) - Most Elementalist in FoW use a combo of Echo, Meteor Shower, and Fire Storm along with any other skill u need.
Healer (Mo/-) - This monk will use Spellbreaker [Elite] on the tank and have the tank fight multiple casters for awhile to counter their spells. Other skills it should have are: Heal Other, Orison of Healing, Healing Seed, Reversal of Fortune, Mend Condition/Ailment, Healing Breeze, Rebirth.
A great item to get is a +4 or +5 energy holy rod along with a max energy healing ankh (energy +12). With the max energy armor from Droknar you should have at least 53 energy.
Attributes:
Healing: 11 (+1 +1) = 13
Divine: 11 (+2) = 13 (Major Divine Rune)
Protection: 8 (+1)= 9
Smiter (Mo/Me) - 2 Monks will have smiting prayers as primary attribute. The skills to have here are Shield of Judgment [Elite], Smite Hex, Scourge Healing (great vs. Shadow Monks and Warriors), Heal Other, Healing Touch, Healing Breeze, Rebirth, and Power Drain/Energy Tap.
My weapon of choice is the Droknar's collector Smiting Rod. It has 11-22 holy damage (Req 9 smiting) and 20% skill recharge of Smiting Prayers. You will need to get Stone Summit Badges for it.
Attributes:
Smiting: 11 (+1 +3) = 15 (Superior Smiting)
Healing: 10 (+1) = 11
Divine: 6 (+1) = 7
Protection: 2 (+1) =3
Inspiration: 8 = 8
Note: I've only listed 5 people. The 6th can be any support character though having a Necro/Mesmer can be good at times.
The group truly excels against the skeletal groups. It was easy to wipe out the icehand/ether breaker groups since they wasted their spells on a tank with spellbreaker.
I was able to manhandle 3 berserkers at one time with Shield of Judgment (result of 100 dmg per hit) while healing myself. If you can manage energy easily then u can bring holy strike to do massive damage (220 total dmg) to a knocked down skeletal attacker.
Once you obtain the unholy text, have the warrior carry it the whole time in order to draw all enemy activity. Keep healing him and have SoJ/Spell breaker on him. Have the tank get near monks in order for nuker to meteor them. Scourge healing also works very well to decrease their healing ability when meteor shower is recharging/done.
