Guild Wars, just the name alone basically demonstrate what this article is going to be about. Guild Wars is different is a very common prospective. Guild Wars need GUILDS. In World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3, Knight Online, Rose, any of these other games, people are crying to join a guild, there are guilds pact with players that can’t invite anymore. Guild Wars however seem like Guilds are looking for players that aren’t in guilds, which there are none. Many guilds don’t involve all members actively having fun, many guilds just use there top 8 players, and then leave the others in behind watching. Unlike other games, all members are involved. In Warcraft 3, my guild was ranked one of the best, and all members had fun, we always do free for All’s together, we always had a great time. In Guild Wars my current guild is inactive, and we do nothing. I notice that not all guilds have what I’m complaining about.
Basically there are 2 types of guilds that involve not having fun, a high ranked guild, or an inactive guild. During the time when I was guild less I got invited to all these high ranked guilds. It was pretty cool seeing over 30 people on at a time, yet I never PvPed with them, and I wasn’t included in any GvG’s. I wasn’t a noob at all. Even when they did Underworld, I never went; they excluded me and a lot of players on that guild.
Seeing that paragraph, I’ve come to notice many mistakes in guilds, this guide will help you creating and keeping a good guild:
Creating a Guild
To start off, gathering yourself, and a few of your friends that play Guild Wars, no matter what if anyone leaves, you still have your friends to help to re-create a guild. After you gather your friends create a guild. Now that you and your friends are on the same guild, you first objective should be to make a cape the whole guild can agree on, therefore everyone’s happy. Then everyone should start chipping in gold for buy a Guild Hall, or PvP and get to the Hall of Heroes and win won! Once you have enough money ask your guild which Guild Hall you like the best, take a vote, or hopefully everyone agrees on one. Now that you have a guild hall, you and your friends should practice PvP, so you can get your rank up. Do unrated Guild Battles, or Tomb of Primeval Kings. Once you feel your ready, start you’re first Guild vs. Guild Battle, keep consistently battling to get your rank up. Once it’s up, start spamming for new members, once you feel you have enough members then you succeeded on making a guild.
Up keeping Your Guild
Now that you have a guild, and members, its time to keep your guild in shape, most players don’t care about the rating, and they just want to have fun. Help members when needed help, offer them gold, and items, to help them out, PvP with them to get there rating up, doing these things signals a loyal leader, and the member will feel comfortable in your guild. You should always advertise going on PvP, or UW/FoW raids, so all members can feel included. Actively, Guild vs. Guild, and sacrifice your rating to include all guild members. Also make sure your officers are loyal, and trustworthy, many un-loyal officers can often screw up your guild. Make sure you kick all inactive members!
Conclusion
basically, having fun is the whole theme in Guild Wars, if you have fun, and all your members have fun, and then it’s all good. You and your guild will stay alive, and one day becomes the best guild.
Use these key points in creating a guild, and you’ll be ranked, and having fun in no time. Remember, being the best isn’t everything, I rather have fun, and be all strict, and have members that have the potential in being the best quit.
Hope this helps!!!!
By the way this is my first guide; tell me how you like it! Thanks…
