Ok, this is just a quick and helpful giude for anyone who thinks they might want to start doing some HFFF runs. I made a short guide for our guild forums and thought i may aswel share it with you wonderful people.
I also made a video a while ago about HFFF, so i thought i may aswel put it up. I'll also try and do a quick rundown of the things to do and the heros i use/skills.
So, first things first,
Heros
the 3 heros i use are:
Anton:
I usually get him to run to the shore. Its a failry small job, so he only really needs those 3 skills. Pretty simple really, keep shadow form up and hit the running skills.
Pyre & Jin:
Same again really. Shadow form and a few running skills. Between Dark Escape and Storm Chaser you can keep up a 25% speed boost constantly. These 2 have a fair way to run, so maintaning the speed boost is vital. When running in NM, and kind of speed boost will deter any attacking foes. So keep these up and you should be pretty good to go.
Hench: I usually just take Devona, Lukas, and whoever else. Maybe a monk. Devona has charge so its pretty nifty to have while theyre running. They get the awesome job of running to the bridge. seeing as you cant control any of their skills its pretty simple. Just pin them and watch them run.
The Run
For the run, you need to leave Lutgardis from the Eastern exit. Once outside take the quest from the dude to your right side. Ok, now open up your mini map and get your heros skill bars up.
I usually order my heros with Anton, Jin and Pyre in that order. Once you get into a routine of which flag your hero is running to and which skill bar is his, you can just start clicking like a mad man once you get used to the run making it a lot easier.
Ok, so as for actually pinning your heros, as soon as i get out i flag my heros in these spots.
I flag Anton on the shore, as mentioned this is a straight forward run so he can go directly there. The Hench are pinned just over the bridge to make sure they go all the way.
Now, Jin & Pyre are flagged at the top of the lake. This is because sometimes they'll noob things up and run into walls and corners before they have even got anywhere near theyre designated spots. So in order to get anywhere near the stairs and the mushroom, you need to get them past the difficult obstacle course that is the grassy area.
So once you have flagged them hit the first 2 skills on your heros skill bar. You should have something looking like this.
Now all you need to do here is keep hitting Storm Chaser and Dark escape in sync with each other.
The second part is getting the heros where they actually should be. Once Jin & Pyre are in the lake you will get the small enchant icons. Which should look like this.
This means that they are far enough in the lake not to noob it up and run miles away from their flag getting caught up somewhere. Once you know they are safely in the lake, you can pin your heros at their proper location, like so...
I also tend to pin the stair runner just a little bit further up in one of the 2 'humps' then needed. This is because the path there is a little narrow, and can result in your hero trying to run up walls should you not put the flag perfectly on the ground.
Now, if all has gone well then you should have no probelms from here. All you need to do is keep the running skills up and wait for your quest to be completed.
Hopefully it should go something like this
That video is a bit old, was made when i first started, i think i have knocked about 10 seconds off of that time now. Shadow form is a 60 seconds recharge, so you can roughly tell how fast you are doing the run by looking at it.

Assuming all faction is donated to your Guild (and thus gaining double points toward the title), to gain the title Savior of the Kurzicks, it will take 12500 repetitions of the quest Securing Echovald Forest. At a 90 second turnover, this equals 312.5 hours, or approx. 13 days to achieve. Repeating the quest that many times will yield 1,875k from the quest rewards alone.
So, the pros are you can make lots of money from this. And you can also bring other people who will also pay you for your time.
The cons, repetative, boring, clicking. Your not even getting involved, so can be a bit tedious.
Well, hope you all enjoyed, and any comments are welcome
With storm Djinn's Haste I can watch their energy. When I see their energy not decreasing I know they have stopped which tells me to move them to the next location. Time saver if you think of it.

i have used this method before but just prefered using stances over enchants. With enchantments you have a cast time, stances, none, so you can just keep running until your hearts content.
and i dont think you should need to know if your character should stop moving to be honest. If they have stopped moving and havent reached their destination then your doing it wrong. which means you have to repin heros and get others to run etc. which is not a time saver by any means.
also, if you stop running your most likely going to die, becasue without a speed boost dudes will be all over your ass. so, i can see what your saying about knowing when they stop running, but hopefully this should never be the case.
i had runs down to an average of 50 seconds and under. i can only imagine that with enchant casting times on top of that it would only be slower
The tedium of it drove me away. Now I just get friends to do the runs for me, and I'll just go afk or stick around and chat with them to keep them from dying of boredom.
I just get them to keep a rough count of how many runs they made while I was afk, and I'll pay them accordingly when I return. Still makes an insane amount of money.
