Solo A/E Glacial Farm
First of all, this is my first guide, so I might not be that good, but I will try to include everything.
Second, I know there is a lot of guides and builds to glacial farming, but I just wanted to show people my way, I’m not sure if this had been shown before, but me and my Guild leader both helped in putting this build together.
Okay now with the build
Assassin / Elementalist
Attributes:
Shadow Arts +16
Earth Magic +12
Armour:
Mask with +1 Shadow Arts of Superior Shadow Arts (+4 shadow arts overall)
Rest does not really matter
Radiant insignias preferred.
Weapons:
Weapon with +20% enchantments preferred Totem Axe and Earth Scroll (master of my domain) is a perfect set for this build, although I use Daggers of Xuekao.
Skills:
Step 1.
• Start from Longeye’s Ledge
• Switch Hard Mode on
• Leave into Bjora Marches.
This shows you the easiest route into the farming area. Watch out, small chance of Wurms emerging while on route.
Where there are possible aggro areas, cast Shadow Form and Dark Escape to get past them.
Step 2.
• Get the Norn blessing, get some small points for your kills too.
• Run over to the sacred temple and face the spectral’s.
• Hit shadow of Haste and run towards the mob
• Cast Glyph Of Elemental Power followed by Shadow Form just before you aggro
• Run in and agro as many as possible, when Shadow Form is about half way done, Cast Sliver Armour + Intensity, this makes damage about 6-7 on each hit.
• Hit Aftershock just to speed things up a little.
• When Shadow Form is about to run out, hit Dark Escape, this Cancels Shadow of Haste and teleports you back by the Sacred temple.
• Hit Feigned Neutrality to speed up healing.
• Repeat untill about 20-25 spectrals are dead, the Re-zone Using portal, and start again.
From this run I have had:
Mesmer tomes
About 20 lockpicks
130 Glacial stones
20 Gold items
dropped for me.
Its quick and easy.
