This is the first part 1 in solo grenthwarrior will be working on part 2 Canthan Farm.
How to use Grenth's Balance
Cast Grenth's Balance on a foe with max or almost max hp when your hp is about 100-150. After you killed a foe and is about to attack another one with hp 70%-100% cast Grenth's Balance on that foe before attacking if your health is below 50%. In hard places Grenth's Balance is often followed by Bonettis + Healing signet for an additional healing.(only use this when really needed), you should fight most of the time with low health to get an effective Grenth's Balance Dmg/Healing.
I will rate the enimies depending on how hard they are:
Easy
Normal
Hard
The Armor(same in everybuild)
Armor +10(stance) on every piece
Head + 1 tac, -3 sword
Head + 1 Str, -3 axe
Rune + 1 str, +1 tac 50hp, -3 physical damage
This build work with other armors too.
Farming The Desert
Prophet's Path
Enter from Augury Rock
Weapons
Axe 15(stance) Hp 30 and i use fiery to deal more dmg vs warriors
Shield 45/-2 stance
Rockshots Devourer:
Easy, but beware of their traps. Lure them away from the traps and then start to kill them
Scarab Nest Builder:
Pretty much the same as Devourer.
Minotaurs:
Easy, they use wary stance, don't use any attack skills then.
Stormkin:
HARD!!! don't try
Sand Elementals:
Hard, they use eruption = blind
Jade Scarabs:
Hard, they use vamp touch as heal/damage, use Grenth's Balance often. Combo Grenth's Balance with bonettis + healig signet. They are selfhealing so you can use Grenth's Balance often without lowering their health to much. Bonettis + Heal Signet often. When they got low health use Dismember followed by Agonizing Chop to kill, they have no time to cast plague touch. Hard but can be killed pretty easy when you master this build.
Skyward Reach
Enter from Augury Rock
Use same skills/weapon as above
Hydras
Your #1 foe to farm in this area
Easy,if fighting more then one let them cast a few spells at you and then you cast Grenth's Balance and start attacking that foe.
Losaru Centaur:
Hard, but doable, not worth the time
Diviners Ascent
Enter from Elona Reach
Same weapons/skills as above
Sand Drakes:
Easy, watch out for ward against melee, just pull them out of the area and start killing them
Hydras and Devourer:
Same as mentioned before
Rock-Eater Scarabs:
Easy, they use frenzy, If you go to the left when you enter Diviners Ascent from Elona Reach there is some bosses there. Use them for healing with Grenth's Balance while you're killing the Scarabs
Monk and Necro boss killed, not very hard just use Grenth's Balance and spamming attack skills as damage
Jade Scarabs:
Still hard, same as above
The Scar
Enter from Destiny's Gorge or Thirsty River, both are good starting places
same skills/weapons as above:D
Griffons
Easy, just kill them the normal way
Sand Giants
Normal, they use plague touch, Knockdown, vile touch, use the Dismember + Agonizing chop spike to kill them when their health is low
You can also find Hydras and Devourer, kill them as mentioned above
Vulture Drift
Enter from Dunes of Despair
I use sword 15/-10 attacking so that they damage me more and 10% adrenalin 30hp
Shield 45/-2 Stance
Enchanted
Normal, kill warriors first, when the rangers use throw dirt you use plague touch, remember to heal whenever you need it
Sand Wurm
Normal, much health which means you get a great heal/damage boost from Grenth's Balance often about 400, still they are pretty slow to kill but funny:D
one sand wurm down!!
You will also meet a lot of sand giants, devourer, griffons and drakes:
just kill them using Grenth's Balance and attack skills
From here you can enter The Arid Sea and kill there if you want, lots of sand giants
The Shiverpeak Farm
Witmans Folly
Weapons
Sword 15/-10, zealous recomended but not needed, 30hp
Shield 45/-2 stance
Grawl(warrior)
Easy, kill them first using Ripostes and Grenth's Balance. remember to use Dolyak Signet as well.
Grawl Crone
Easy, just attack and use Power Attack but make sure you have energy for Grenth's Balance
Azure Shadow
Normal, use ripostes and Grenth's Balance to kill them, don't use power attack.
Bosses
Some are hard to kill but they are good for healing with Grenth's Balance when fighting a group with a boss
Iron Mines of Moladune (Mission)
Weapons
Sword 15/-10, zealous recomended, 30hp
Shield 45/-2(stance)
Skip this group in the beginning it can be killed but not worth it
Tundra Giant
Easy, kill them using Riposte, attack skills and Grenth's Balance
Azure Shadow
Normal, use ripostes and Grenth's Balance to kill them
Mountain Trolls
Easy, use attack skills, Ritpostes and Grenth's Balance and they should be dead
White Mantles
Normal, attack the priest and use ripostes vs warriors. Bonettis + Healing Signet to heal
Lure here
Bosses in this area can be killed if you switch drunken blow to Disrupting Chop, often 2 warrior bosses.
Blessed Griffon
Normal, watch of their symbol of wrath and spellbreaker. kill them with attack skills, ripostes and Grenth's Balance for healing followed by bonettis + healing signet
Azure Shadow near the seer
Hard, kill with ripostes and grenth's balance, this is really hard if you are not used to this build.
After the seer keep moving to Markis killing mursaats and white mantle: kind of hard from here but you can kill markis
Lornas Pass to Camp Rankor
Skills/attributes/weapons same as Prophet's Path
start by going to the left and kill and pinsouls, iceimps, ice golems before you set of to camp rankor
Ice Imps
Normal, they use Mind Freeze to slow you down and Maelstrom which can interupt your Grenth's Balance BEWARE. otherwhise they are simple
Pinesoul
Easy, they use traps, very easy and fast to kill pinesouls
Ice Golems
Easy, they use rust so don't use healing signet, well they dont damage you much so you dont need to use it
you can tank lots of ice golems without any problem
Avicaras
Normal, Take the warriors first then rangers followed
by necromancers.
Grawls
Normal, kill the warriors first then Crones using Attack skills and Grenth's Balance. Crones use plague touch so as finish use the dismember + agonizing chop spike combo
Mountain Trolls
Easy, kill them the normal Grenth's Balance way, shouldn't be any problems
Frost Wurm
Normal, slow kill, use Grenth's balance for nice damage/healing, can be hard if you get 2 wurms on you
Tundra Giants
Easy, kill them using Grenth's Balance and attack skills, don't overaggro them, remember to keep Dolyak Signet up
Azure Shadow
Very Hard as you dont have ripostes, just leave them
Stone Summits near rankor
Hard, might wanna skip them but if you wanna kill, kill the heretics first as they are very annoying, if there is a dolyak master there then give up you can't outdamage them without ripostes(used to kill warriors around so dolyak masters heal them instead)
Frozen Forest
Weapons same as Lornas Pass
Enter from Iron Mines
Start by killing the first group of Ice Imps and Pinesouls, you should know how
Then turn left and you will see avicaras and pinsouls,
kill the warriors first then ranger followed by necromancer or pinesouls
Be ready to be spiked just when you enter combat but if you spam the the attack skills on the warrior you should be fine use bonettis + healing signet if needed
Keep killing the avicaras in you way until you see jade armors and bows
Block the jade bows so they can't attack you like this(there are lots of spots like this)
Beware jade bows use whirling defence just kill them with attack skills and Grenth's Balance
Keep killing jades until you get to more avicaras and pinesouls and start kill them
In this spot there is 2 groups block the rangers and pinsouls and kill the warriors first followed by necromancers if they are not blocked.
The whole frozen forest run
NOTES:
This build might be hard if you are new to this, but when you master it it's really fun and great farming build.
I don't have GW:EN so there might be skills that is better.
You don't need the exact stats on the weapons that I use but a 45/-2(stance) shield is good, just get one from a collector.
