Weapon:


Add any Inscr-iption and handle you want, but this build requires the zealous daggers for it to work well.

Attributes:

Beast Mastery:14 (You must have Superior BM rune and the +1 BM Mask)

Expertise: 13 (You must have Major Expertise rune)

Dagger Mastery: 10

Set

Survivor PvP Beast Tamer Mask of Superior Vigor

Survivor PvP ________ of Major Expertise

Survivor PvP ________ of Superior Beast Mastery

Survivor PvP ________ of Vitae

Survivor PvP ________ of Vitae



Skills

Rampage as One, for 14 seconds You and your animal companion attack 33% faster and Run 25% faster

Jagged Strike, Lead attack. If Jagged Strike hits, your target suffers from Bleeding for 15 seconds.

Wild Strike, Off-hand attack.If it hits, this attack strikes for +27 damage and any stance being used by target foe ends. This attack can't be blocked.

Horns of the Ox, Dual attack. If it hits, Horns of the Ox strikes for +25 damage . If not adjacent to any allies, that foe is knocked down.

Poisonous Bite, Pet Attack. Your animal companion attempts a poisonous bite that Poisons target foe for 19 seconds.


Shadow Refuge,Enchantment Spell, For 6 seconds, you gain 5 health regeneration. When Shadow Refuge ends, you gain 20 health if your attacking.

Charm Animal, Skill, Charm target animal. Once Charmed, your animal companion will travel with you whenever you have Charm Animal equiped.

Comfort Animal, Skill, You heal your animal companion for 98 health. If your companion is dead, it is resurrected with 55% health.


Gameplay

Always try and keep up Rampage as one, this whole build is surrounded by that skill. Thats where you all your damage.

Spam Jagged Strike and poisonous bite to keep up the degeneration. But when you have the chance, Do the combo
Rampage as One+Jagged Strike+Wild Strike+Horns of the Ox+ Poisonous Bite.

Don't start Rampage as One from distance, when you are closing in and your about 3 seconds away from the target, THEN use it.

When your pet dies, resurrect it. Without it, you can't use Poisonous Bite or Rampage as One.

This is NOT A TANK!If you charge in you can get killed fast, since you will be the target of most of the skills from the enemy team.


Pros and Cons
Pros
Energy Management is Great, Your attack skills are only 2 energy, and Rampage as one is 12, and since you have zealous daggers+33% attack rate, you should get your combo in fast and quick.

This is perfect for taking out any spell casters. And this build (with the right team) can take out most foes in his/her way.

This build is perfect for RA and Great for TA

Game types such as \"Kill the Priest\" and \"Team Deathmatch\" are great.


Cons

This build has no sort of resurrect(not including Comfort animal)

Any anti-melee measures or builds can seriously damage this thumper. Try and aviod any contact with any foe that does this.

The heal is somewhat decent. Though not enough to be a good enough heal.

Major Degeneration can do a number on this thumper, so just fall back, and use Shadow Refuge and wait it out.

I don't know really, why would I take this over, say the normal R/W Thumper? It seems to provide a lower DPS, at least from my earliest calculations. And if I wanted a spike, I would've used a pure assassin bar instead.

I can somehow see the potential, but it kind of looks like this build isn''t performing as good as the orignal thumper variant...


(oh, and btw, superiour rune + major rune is NOT a good idea)

With that many health/survivor runes it shouldn't hurt that much...

Repeating Strike might be nice for this too :)

i don't like jagged strike, maybe put in unsuspecting strike ?
and swapping horns of the ox for death blossom would make for a spammable high-damage combo.
or use golden fox strike to make the combo less expensive...

but please, no jagged strike.

Not to be too critical but:

1-The health is far too low, you have 475(I think), in PvP you should have at least 550, I always use 600+

2-The damage doesn't seem to be too impressive but I haven't actually tried it so I may be wrong.

3- no res, always bring a res in PvP, bar AB.

jagged strike is terrible and the dps and utility of the build doesn't match that of the thumper. The only thing it really has on the thumper is shadow refuge but on a build like this that will only help out vs minor pressure.

rampage as one-lightning reflexes

i know the combo is kinda old, but very effective and with lightning reflexes u can block wars while attacking faster. Also the poisonous bite wasn't needed. also considering replacing jagged strike with a different lead, perhaps a energy gain lead.

I used a regular thumper on the Master of Damage and i killed him in 10 seconds. But like Charlotte said, it doesn't match the utility of a thumper(spirits, and KD/Daze). Unsuspecting Strike would go better with this build instead of Jagged since Unsuspecting can do up to 100+ and Jagged does like 5. Huge difference.

The point of this build is sorta like a Sin with a pet, and the rampage as one combo works well. You got not only one, but 2 (if you cant the pet) people on a spellcaster, I have used this build in PvP so much, Horn of the Ox works as a KD because I see people stray of from there party far enough to be KD.(Notice Target must be adjacent to allie to not be KD) I cant find any Lead Strikes that work, If you do a A/R, The build is ruined because to do RoA is 25 energy, then your combos.

(continuing from combos) will be 5-10 energy, which is a MAJOR energy burner. I really dont see how you can change the thumper build keeping a pet and RoA.

hmm Reversal of fortune I think he fell down when he swapped to healing breeze. The second one use healing sig did not seem to put up allot of resitance just kept spamming healing sig a few warrior hits and your helth was looking quite low. as for the use of mergoil skills on your thrid opponent.

maybe swap that lead attack for an interrupt and no more healing themselves :/ possibly.

Its an inventive build I know what its like to have people dis something that you work on and test.
If they have a stance that stops your lead attack your going to have problems getting rid of that stance fox would fix that for you.
horns of the ox will disrupt but its a bit late in the fight perhaps.

Its easy to think of counter builds when you see a build but allot of players are going for one thing and this will probably find cracks in other peoples builds great guide well put together well thought out and nicely presented I look forward to more.

Love your build idea, but it does lack a rez and a def. skill. Although, i suppose Rampage as One will let you just run away. hrm... Also, I like how quickly you can use Jagged and Wild, but Horns takes a long time to recharge. Wouldn't help you to take along Death Blossom vs Horns? <==just imo Otherwise, good job!!
