I noticed that there aren't many Paragon builds here, and certainly not for new players.
This build is a basic build with basic skills, which works great for new players.
It can be used by every Paragon, the second profesion doesn't really matter.
(this one is with Ele as second profession)
Attributes:
Just give the remaining attribute points to an attribute of your second profession.
Runes: Spear Mastery +1, Motivation +1, Leadership +1
Skills:
How to use:
1: Spear Mastery
I have chosen for adrenaline skills, so you can keep your energy for the healing skills.
Mighty throw is a great skill to do a large amount of damage. The only negative point about it, is that it takes some time to activate. But that doesn't really matter because this skill only uses 2 adrenaline; so in battle it will always be useable.
Barbed Spear causes bleeding, always usefull.
Merciless Spear causes deep wound, which is really usefull. Only use this one if your foe is below 50% health, otherwise it is totaly useless. Deep wound in combination with bleeding make bosses much more easy to kill.
2: Leadership:
Signet of return is a good ressurection skill, but it takes some time till it has recharged.
Leaders comfort is the best self-healing skill Paragons have. Try to use it when you are close to your partymembers, because each ally within earshot gives you a certain amount of health extra. Almost any time this skill gives you 140 health, which is quiet a lot.
3: Motivation:
Mending refrain works well for healing allies.
Signet of Synergy is a great skill to heal others and yourself at the same time.
4: Free slot:
In this slot, you just put a skill of your second profession (5 attribute points) As an Elementalist I used to use Fire Storm when it came to fight plants and insects. (is very usefull in the beginning)
Now i use Ward against Melee.
[with mesmer as second profession Epidemic could be a nice skill, to give the bleeding and deep wound to all foes]
I hope this build can be usefull for some new players. All comment is welcome !
