Hey wasup this is my first build. I have been putting it off for quite some time and being so happy that I have made my own and “workable” build is an awesome accomplishment for my-self. And I very much want to share my build.

This build is really not that hard and is mostly used in GvG this build can go with spike, degen and balanced team GvG builds.. I have not tested it in any other pvp except GvG because it does not have high dmg it is really just for de-enchanting and degen/spike/scary/gank. This build can be used to take out some of the henchmen with some help from another healer. I do not have any healing enchantments on this because you have Irresistible Sweep takes of one enchantment which is Heart of Holy Flame you need to try and keep this enchantment up at all times that way your spike is ready. If you want to be more of a gank or if your in a big guild hall put a running skill on most likely Storm Chaser or Antidote Signet in place of Rez Sig. This build does not work that great if you own a big guild hall because you have to run around so much. A smaller area guild hall would be nice because you can dish out more area effect with Heart of Holy Flame and Apply Poison.

Weapon: Sundering PvP Scythe of Fortitude and Vampiric PvP Scythe of Fortitude(I could not get the picture on here)

This is how it starts out activate Avatar of Grenth when your about to go into battle not before battle because you do not want to waste Avatar of Grenth. After you have engaged Grenth then activate Apply Poison preferably out of interrupting range, you will however not be able to be out of range when activating it again in battle so don’t worry too much about it you most likely won’t get it interrupted. You then want to engage a squishy target I like going after the monks because they have the most enchantments on them. Activate Heart of Holy Flame you dish out a little damage and if you miss oh well they whole point is just to have that enchantment on. While you are attacking you are putting poison on your desired target and they have -4 degen with no enchantments. The Monks or whomever says “Oh hey poison I need to take that off”. They take it off but you put it on them yet again. You are now an annoying target. You have climbed in their book to one of the most desirable targets to kill. GOOD FOR YOU! Now attack with Crippling Sweep you have 7 seconds or when it is taken off, to attack with Irresistible Sweep. When you attack with Irresistible Sweep, which can not be blocked or evaded your target(that is if you have Apply Poison still on) gets -10degen for 4 seconds and no possibility of enchantments(if you have Avatar of Grenth on). (You could wait to attack with Irresistible Sweep when they bunch up or if their alone your call, but you will cause the most confusion if their in a group) NOW!! hit with Chilling Victory before the target is healed. They should be at 50% health or more depending how many people are helping you attack and how long you have been attacking the target. If your attacking by your self the target should be at 50% health and you know the target it yelling “GET THIS ******* GUY OFF OF ME!!!” The Troll Unguent is there if your alone and ganking if you don’t want that just replace it with Storm Chaser.

WARNING: This is property of Sir Renecane/lion7 anyone saying that it is not my build or trying to take ownership of this build will die upon reading this. LOL. No but seriously this is MINE!

Any comments negative or positive are welcome!!!

*Horrible and demeaning post* :D:D (I'm just kiddin')

Not too bad, although you have a bit weak self-healing (Only troll unguent), and I see dervishes as fresh meat with their pretty weak armor. They're like Assassins+Elementalists.

Please note that Avatar of Grenth only removes enchantments with attack skills, so you can't beat enchantment spam ;D They do have a possibility of enchantments.

But not bad, not bad :)

WHOA! Good job, bud! You put a lotta detail into it. I like the guide. I don't know if I can try it (been working on buying assassing skills atm) but when I get around to perfecting my Dervish, I'll remember this! (bookmarked in favorites)

Great job on the coloring and equipment.

Indeed, it is a very nice and easy build to use...

Hey why dont you put in Lyssas Strike (while enchant on you, and attack hits, you get +MP so you dont need to worry about low mana.)

Nice first guide, though in all honesty, I've used a variant of it for a long time, within the first week of Nightfall being out actually.

A few changes could be made, primairly, lowering Wilderness Survival and losing Troll Unguent. Since you're a melee fighter, TU is a bad skill as it is susceptible to being interrupted more so than a ranger using it at a distance. At 7 Wilderness Survival, Poison lasts for 9 seconds, more than enough in most scenarios.

Doing so will let you bring Earth Prayers up to 8, which means you have more options for healing something like Vital Boon perhaps. Secondly you'll now be able to take advantage of Armor of Sanctity, a must for a build like yours. Conviction is also another nice skill to include, if you can find a space for it.

I'd also advice kicking out Heart of Holy Flame for Heart of Fury, an attack speed buff that lasts quite a while, and when it ends it causes burning just like HoHF.

To make it easier and to summarize my advice, with what I just said, the attributes and stats would look like this.

Attributes:
Scthe Mastery: 12
Mysticism: 15
Earth Prayers: 9
Wilderness Survival: 7

Skills:
1. Crippling Sweep - Core
2. Irresistable Sweep - Core
3. Victorious Sweep -Self Heal or Vital Boon - Self Heal
4. Heart of Fury - Attack Speed Buff or Conviction - Increased Armor/Regen
5. Armor of Sanctity - Defense or Conviction - Increased Armor/Regen
6. Apply Poison - Core
7. Avatar of Grenth - Core
8. Ressurction Signet - Res or Faithful Intervention - Self Auto Heal

Perhaps that is changing your build too much, but thats what I was running with early on in the game before I capped Avatar of Lyssa.

Also, being one of the most desired targets to kill means you will be dead in a matter of seconds. With your build, if that is your objective, once you're targetted, you die. You have fairly low health and no defense at all with a weak self heal. When I tested this build out, I required a really good monk because once I was noticed (The Grenth Avatar Form gave me away REALLY quickly), Assassins, eles and rangers made really quick work of me. Other than that, when I swapped out Chilling Victory for a non-ranger self heal, I found myself lasting a bit longer and being less of a burden on my friend (IE: My monk).

  lion7 on 01/12/07 16:59

HiroAyami I definitely agree with you about the healing I probably should have put meditation or something else that troll unguent but You said that you had run a variant of this build. Um...your build is nothing like my guild at all. Mine is specifically for GvG and since Im using a skill that takes off enchantments and using it a lot I don't put any other enchantments on me that is y troll unguent is there it can't be removed. But i do agree on if u don't take troll unguent then u need to bump wilderness survival down a little bit. There is also no point in replacing heart of holy flame with heart of fury because I will be taking it off practically as soon as I put it on.

  HiroAyami on 01/12/07 23:40

Eh, I meant I ran a build just like yours minus TU and Chilling Victory, replaced with Victrious Sweep and Faithful Intervention. The build I posted here was the refined version. My bad on the confusion.
