mwpeck's Troll/Minotaur Ele Farming Guide
Ok, before I start, a majority of the credit for this build goes to "- Tain -" from Guildwarsguru. He gave me the build, and worked with me to get all the tactics and kinks worked out.
PS: This Build requires all 200 Attributes.
- Attributes -
Fire Magic: 12 + 3 + 1
Water Magic: 9 + 1
Energy Storage: 9 + 2 (you can also use a sup ES rune if you need more energy, they wont be hurting you at all)
- Skills -
       
1. Glyph of Sacrifice - For 15 seconds, your next spell may be cast instantly, but it takes and additional 30 seconds to recharge.
2. Meteor Shower - Create a Meteor Shower at target foe's location. For 9 seconds, foes adjacent to that location are stuck for 7...91 fire damage and knocked down every 3 seconds. This spell causes Exhaustion.
3. Mark of Rodgort - Target foe and all adjacent foes are hexed with Mark of Rodgort. For 10...30 seconds, whenever each foe is struck for fire damage, that foe is set on fire for 1...3 seconds.
4. Lava Font - For 5 seconds, foes adjacent to the location where this spell was cast are struck for 5...41 fire damage each second.
5. Frozen Burst - All nearby foes are struck for 20...92 cold damage and move 66% slower for 5...10 seconds.
6. Flame Burst - All nearby foes are struck for 15...99 fire damage.
7. Armor of Mist - For 8...18 seconds, you gain +10...34 armor and move 33% faster.
8. Mist Form - For 8...18 seconds, you cannot take or deal damage from attacks.
Easiest boss to cap Mist Form from:
Brrrr Windburn in Talus Chute.
- Gear -
Really just about any armor works. But you MUST have a way to get 85 energy.(more is better) I personally use a staff with 20% enchanting for mist form, then I switch to a +30 energy/-2 regen wand/offhand, it gives me enough energy for the combo, and more if I need to cleanup whats left.
One way of getting more energy is use attunement runes on as many pieces as you can.
Here's my Weapons as this is one of the most important things.
Set 1:
(A staff with the cast/recharge related mods is NOT required, only the 20% enchanting is needed. It can be ANY weapon with 20% enchanting)
Set 2:

For Trolls:
Zone to Droknar's Forge and run out of the northern zone.
Run to the cave, using Armor of Mist to run past any avicara along the way.
Once you get in the cave, aggro as many trolls as you want, get to a point where they can gather around you though. Cast Mist Form before too many have a chance to hit you.(preferably as soon as you stop moving) Then start with the combo, 1 -> 2 -> 3 -> 4 -> 5 -> 6. There might still be a few alive, and this is where the extra energy comes in handy, put down another Lava Font (4), then when they get close to you, do another Flame Burst (6).
They should all be dead, also, take note that they must all be around you when you start otherwise they might have too much life left over to kill.....if this happens, try avoiding whichever ones are left until Mist Form is done recharging, then put it up ASAP and finish the last few trolls.

For Minotaur's: (in Elona's Reach mission)
First off, Armor of Mist is un-needed here so you can add something like Fire Attunement to help with energy.
Zone to Elona's Reach and hit the Enter Mission button.
After you enter the mission, head north and talk to the ghost, then drop the crystal. Now head through the gate, and to the left. Keep heading west until you can get down the hill to the north. Head down the hill, and start aggroing the Minotaurs. This may sound silly, but run around the water hole about 3 times to make sure you get ALL the minotaurs(3 or so run off as you approach, but come back later). Make sure you make the circles large enough so you dont lag and get stuck on the water hole, and it also helps avoid being hit by the mino's that are chasing you.
Now, once they are all on you, use Mist Form, just like you did for the trolls. Switch your weapons to you +30/-2 if you have them. Then start your combo in the same order mentioned for trolls. They will run after you use flame burst, so you too need to run a little. Start heading up the hill to the South-East(the one you came down originally), you dont need to run far, just far enough so the mino's come at you again. Then cast another lava font, and when they get to you, flame burst. This should be enough to kill them. If some are STILL alive you either casted flame burst too soon or they came in late. Either way, you can just run around a little bit and let mist form recharge then finish off the last however many there are.
