INTRODUCTION
Ok, to start off, this is showing you how to use henchman and heroes to complete the Kilroy Stonekin quest in Sorrow's Furnace. This can be done with any profession, but regardless of what character YOU are playing, make sure there are 4 monks, 2/3 warriors, a mesmer, and (if you have room) a utility character (necro, nuker, etc).
First, obtain the quest "To Sorrow's Furnace" from the Dwarven Prospector outside of Deldrimor Warcamp. Have him point you to Kilroy Stonekin. The first thing you will want to do is go down the hill and kill the first group.
After that, you will turn your left and go further down the hill, kill the next group you see.
Let's go grab Kilroy.
After you grab Kilroy, let's go down back and to the left, killing the gnashers first, then whatever is left.
After we do this, let's go to the right and kill any gnashers, then we will kill the mesmers (heretics), anything that is remaining, then whatever boss is there.
Go to the right, kill the monsters there (gnashers first, then heretics), keep on going until we find another boss.
After this, look towards Sorrow's Furnace. There should be a group on the left and the right. Check the group on the left for a Heretic. If there is none, you can all go in at the same time. If there is one, send in one hero to aggro the heretic so that hero can get the Crippling Anguish, then go into Sorrow's Furnace.
Talk to Kilroy when you get into SF. Accept the quest, and move forward. You will get into a cutscene, skip it, watch it, whatever, you're the only real person in the group :). You will fight 4 deep summit knights (something like that) when you first pop in. Keep following Kilroy until you reach THIS point.
Once you reach here, aggro the group on the right, with the surveyors. Press ctrl+shift+spacebar at the sametime so your heroes/henchman will attack that target. Tab through until you find a Priest of Sorrows. Keep attacking your called target, but once the Priest uses Mark Of Protection, flail away on the Priest. Ctrl+shift+space the priest, own him, and own everything else that's living.
Once that's done, send away your henchmen to about here. Use the flag and click to where the red point is on the screen.
Open the chest.
Call off your henchmen and keep going. Follow Kilroy. You should come up to a place that has about 6-8 Stone Summit, which includes a Priest. Use the technique described earlier until you wipe everything, then send your henchmen/heroes away to here. (look on the compass)
Open the chest.
Call off your heroes/henchman using the X on the compass, and follow Kilroy. You will end up at a place with 3 groups of foes. Go to the group on the far left. Ctrl+shift+space the Furnace Guardian, and if you start attcking him and he does 0 dmg, focus on the priest of sorrows and own him.
Annihilate all of the Priests, then get the ettins and the surveyors/whatever is left, then get the boss.
Once everything is dead, send away your henchman to this point. Look on the mini-map and compass.
Open the chest.
FINISHING NOTES
In all, I love this farm. I thought it was funny when a friend told me about it, but it has brought me a lot of money.
What do you get from this farm?
A lot of armors, purples. Even though the weapons are purple, this is just because they are a quest reward. Think of it like the FoW chests when doing the temple quests. They are purple, but can have perfect inherent mods.
What drops from the chests?
Among purple armors and weapons are Crystalline swords, Serpent Axes, and Dwarven axes. I have been a lucky receiver of a Crystalline, which I sold in-game for 70k (it had kinda bad stats). Pic of it Here.
CLOSING STATEMENT
In all, this farm should rake in the money. You can make a good 2-3k in about 30 minutes or more (depending on the spawn). After farming this for a week or two, I have made a lot of money. I had 430k 2 weeks ago, here's my storage now.
So, if you do try this, good luck, and hopefully you can get a crystalline (or other things! :D)
