This is a guide for solo farming the Mountain Trolls outside of Droknar's Forge. While I do not take full credit for this build, I did not copy if from somewhere else, so no flaming if you have recognition, please.
The Attributes:
The Equipment:
Any staff with Insightful and Enchanting upgrades will do, preferably at least 17& Enchanting. Galigord's Stone Staff works well here.
The Skills:
1: Glyph of Elemental Power - For 15 seconds, your elemental attributes are boosted by 2 for your next 5 spells. (5/1/15)
2: Meteor Shower - Create a Meteor Shower at target foe's location. For 9 seconds, foes adjacent to that location are struck for 7...91 fire damage and knocked down every 3 seconds. This Spell causes Exhaustion. (25/5/60)
3: Lava Font - For 5 seconds, foes adjacent to the location where this spell was cast are struck for 5...41 fire damage each second. (10/2/4)
4: Glyph of Lesser Energy - For 15 seconds, your next two spells costs 15 less Energy to cast. (5/1/30)
5: Frozen Burst - All nearby foes are struck for 20...92 cold damage and move 66% slower for 5...10 seconds. (15/(3/4)/30)
6: Flame Burst - All nearby foes are struck for 15...99 fire damage. (15/(3/4)/5)
7: Inferno - All adjacent foes are struck for 30...114 fire damage. (10/(3/4)/10)
8: Mist Form (Elite) - For 8...18 seconds, you cannot take or deal damage from attacks. (10/1/30)
The Location:
The green icon indicates the relative location of the Mountain Trolls.
The Usage:
Go outside of Droknar's Forge into Talus Chute. Immediately head left past the Ressurection Shrine. If there are Avicara blocking the way, resign/rezone and restart. They cannot be deafeated with this build. There should be 3 Mountain Trolls somewhere outside the cave also. If you can get them alone, safely away from the Avicara, they are great to practice with.
Once in the cave, cluster the Mountain Trolls on one side of you, in a small bunch. Before they maul you to death, cast Mist Form. Then, immediately use skills 1-7, in that order, without stopping.
If some Mountain Trolls survive (and some inevitably will), then use Lava Font when they come back, as it should have recharged by now.
If all goes well...
This build can kill the Mountain Trolls (except bosses) in under 19 seconds.
