Hi! And welcome to another Ulv's guide!
Today I will learn you how to play FC Air Spike.
Introduction
This build contains of:
- 5 Me/E -> Spikers
- 2 Mo/A -> Blessed Light Monks
- 1 E/Mo -> Flagrunner
This build is best used using VoIP technology,
such as: TeamSpeak 2 or Ventrilo.
The skills
The attributes
Practice makes perfect
After all the spikers are set up, I suggest you go practice in "The Great Temple of Balthazar".
One of the spiker shouls be the caller. The caller will count down to spike (3-2-1-spike).
On 1 all the spikers, except for the caller use "Lightning Orb" followed by "Lightning Strike" on the called target.
The caller will use the skillcombo on "spike", due to VoIP-lag.
Just keep practicing and adjust where needed.
The real battle
Enter a GvG-Battle and let the "Windborne-Spiker" pick up the first flag.
The runner will stay in the base and will wait for the flag to respawn.
The 5 spikers and the 2 monks will run towards the flagstand.
When the team is splitting, take the flagstand and run to the team going for your base, you want to spike their Guild Thief.
In the meanwhile the runner has taken the next flag and will run towards the stand, to prevent for the opposing team
to cap or just to recap when needed.
Blind the warriors/rangers when they're annoying, use Gale on a monk when they are using "Infuse Health" or a similar skill. This will
help you killing the target.
When you have the Thief (if there is one), you can open the gates (when there are gates).
Enter the base and spike all the NPC's down, this will help your team when it's Victory or Death (VoD).
Spike the Bodyguard and wait for the team to respawn. When they are alive again, spike them and try to kill the Guild Lord.
Beware!
The guild lord has 2400 health, so 1 spike won't be enough. Also he has 5 pips of health regen, so that will help him alot.
Because of his "Amulet" he will get healed when he takes too much damage.
Tips on killing a Guild Lord
At the start of the game, the Lord can't take more than 50 damage per second (I will use Dps now).
The limit increases at a constant rate of 11.6% per minute, starting when the game clock reads 0:00 and the gates open.
So at around 15 minutes, you can deal 250 dps. When the limit of 250 is reached, it will not change anymore.
Keeping this in mind you should not spike as a group, but as a player. Tell your team to random spike him and you
will get the Lord down.
Good luck and have fun!
