Ok, so I'm gunna take a stab at a guide. I'm pretty sure hardly nobody has tried this because Shadow Form is considered a horrible skill. Anyways, sorry about having no pictures, I just can't figure it out.
Skills
1. Shadow Form (E)
2. Frenzy (optional)
3. Shroud of Distress
4. Sever Artery (optional)
5. Final Thrust (optional)
6. Shadow Refuge
7. Endure Pain
8. Ressurection Signet
Attributes
Stength: 10 or 11
Shadow Arts: 11
Weapon Attribute (Sword or Axe): Rest of your points.
Equipment
Prefferably a sword or axe with a Zealous mod and Enchanting mod.
Gladiators Armor is NEEDED for the extra energy, as most of your skills will take energy.
Ok, the idea of this build is to make you nearly invincible for about 20 seconds. Do NOT use Shadow Form until you come under heavy atacks or spells. ALSO do not use it while fighting a Touch Ranger or IW Mesmer, as their skills will bypass Shadow Form anyways.
When you are fighting without Shadow Form, keep Shadow Refuge on when you are taking minor damage or degeneration. Use Frenzy if you are fighting against 1 foe only, and not against a heavy damage dealing Elementalist or something like it.
When you are getting low on health or are taking alot of damage, cast Shadow Form. Try to keep Frenzy on during it as you wont be taking much damage anyways, as this paired with a Zealous weapon will boost your energy rather fast. When Shadow Form ends, IMMEDIATLELY cast Endure Pain, Shadow Refuge, and (if you have the energy) Shroud of Distress. This should ensure your survival unless many people are still attacking you, in which case you die :)Continue to cast Shadow Refuge as much as you can and try to survive until Shadow Form is castable again.
That is basically it. It takes time to figure out just how to make it work, but it is quite nice once you learn it.
