For Rangers, the Mirror Battle is actually rather easy if you think it through logically. Hopefully by the time you've reached Augury you have several Nature Rituals. If you bring these, your mirror will cast them, leaving you with valuable time to beat his ugly face in.
Here's the skills that I brought:
Favorable Winds
Fertile Season
Energizing Wind
Winter
Power Shot
Hunter's Shot
Antidote Signet (or anything similarly useless)
Resurrection Signet (also useless)
While the mirror took the time to cast all the rituals (the effects of which help both sides, not just himself), I simply alternated Power Shot and Hunter's Shot as quickly as I was allowed. By the time he had finished, his health bar was already approximately half drained. Keep alternating these two attacks (he will do the same) and ignore any health loss. As long as you two attack at the same rate, he will die first.
