Hey its me again.. 8P
First you may want to read my guide to grouping, I will use some of the same terms.
To be a good puller you need to have patience and understand what the aggro bubble is (the clear bubble around your green dot on the compass). Being a warrior is a bonus but no way near required.
When everyone is ready for another group of mobs the map writer will inform you of the next set of mobs to kill. Now wait a second and study their movement and the movement of other groups of mobs close by. It doesn’t take long to see there pattern and once you got it, you move. To pull, just inch up till your agro bubble is touching one of the mobs red blips then slowly back to your party.
By doing this you are causing a couple things to happen.
[*]You will not get wandering adds
[*]You know which direction the Warrior adds are coming from so you can block their way and get aggro (which is the only real way for aggro blocking the movement of a mob - usually the warrior ones since casters don’t have to touch)
[*]You are keeping the enemy casters close enough to hit you and far enough away they might not notice the casters/monks in your group
With pulling like this you are taking the upfront damage, getting assaulted if you will, buying seconds for the killers to get positioned and do what they do...
Thanks for taking the time and reading this and anything you see different let me know I always like new strategies...
