Defeating your mirror as a Necromancer/Whatever or Whatever/Necromancer is a breeze. It is by far the easiest combination to complete ascension. The thing you must remember is that your mirror will use whatever skills you bring into the fight - regardless of whether they are really beneficial to him or not - so you have to choose only those skills which are detrimental to his health or cause health degeneration while providing no real harm to yourself.
For this, health sacrificing skills are golden. Your Mirror will go down the skill bar activating each and every one of these, while you will use none of them; you simply want to melee him while he sacrifices himself (nearly) to death.
Some examples are:
- Awaken the Blood - For 20-39 seconds, you gain +2 Blood Magic and +2 Curses, but whenever you sacrifice health, you sacrifice 50% more than the normal amount. This sets your mirror up for the pain!
- Dark Fury - Sacrifice up to 17% max health. For 5 seconds, the next time any nearby party member attacks, that party member gains one hit of adrenaline. Big deal... With Awaken the Blood he just lost 26% health.
- Defile Flesh - Sacrifice 20% max health. For 8-18 seconds, target foe receives only two-thirds benefit from healing. You won't be healing yourself, so this doesn't matter. With Awaken the Blood he just lost 30% health.
- Malaise - For 5-29 seconds, target foe suffers energy degeneration of 2 and you suffer health degeneration of 2. Malaise ends if target foe's energy reaches 0. You won't be casting spells, so who cares about energy degen. He'll have health degen after this to make your life easier.
- Signet of Agony - Sacrifice 10% max health and suffer from bleeding. All nearby foes take 10-37 damage. You might consider bringing this along. You'll take a little damage, but he'll suffer 15% health loss (after Awaken the Blood) and begin bleeding, which means he's losing an additional 6 health/second.
Also remember you don't have to fill your skillbar before you go in. I'm a W/N and I went in with these five skills and sprint equipped. He popped all five of these skills, sprinted over to me, and I hit him twice with melee. Fight over, 9 seconds flat. :)
Good luck!
