Trap Bomber!
(Note: This build was tested, and proven to work by me. This build is made for Fort Aspenwood, Luxon side)
Ranger/Anything
Attributes (I find this works best, with 200 attributes)
Beast Mastery: 10
Expertise: 11
Wilderness Survival: 10
Equipment:
Tamers Mask of Superior Beast Mastery (you put this on before you put up your spirits)
Travelers Mask of Superior Wilderness Survival (keep this on unless you are putting up a spirit)
Druids Vest of (best you can get) Vigor
Druids Gloves of Minor Expertise
Druids Leggings
Druids Boots
All armor max level (70 and +30vrs elemental)
I use the staff from fire in the east quest with an insightful staff head on it because it gives the most energy (+13 w/out the staff head). Any staff wrapping that gives hp or armor would help.
Skills:
With Travelers Mask on
Troll Unguent. (skill)
+10hp regeneration for 10 seconds.
Spike Trap (trap)
64 piercing damage, knockdown and cripple for 14 seconds
Flame Trap (trap)
29 flame damage each second (for 3 seconds total) and foes set on fire for 3 seconds.
Barbed Trap (trap)
62 piercing damage. Foes crippled and bleeding for 24 seconds
Dust Trap (trap)
Foes blinded for 8 seconds, 24 earth damage per second (for 5 seconds total)
Serpents Quickness (stance)
Cuts 1/3 time off skill recharge for29 seconds, ends if hp drops below half
Predatory Season (spirit)
Lvl 7 spirit, cuts healing down by 20% lasts 110 seconds
Edge of Extinction (spirit)
Lvl 7 spirit, when things die in its range it deals 38dmg to things of the same type (includes Gunthar and gatekeepers but not the juggernaut) Lasts the same as Predatory Season
With Tamers Mask on
Troll Unguent. (skill)
+8hp regen for 10 seconds.
Spike Trap (trap)
49 piercing damage, knockdown and cripple for 11 seconds
Flame Trap (trap)
25 flame damage each second (for 3 seconds total) and foes set on fire for 2 seconds.
Barbed Trap (trap)
50 piercing damage. Foes crippled and bleeding for 18 seconds
Dust Trap (trap)
Foes blinded for 6 seconds, 20 earth damage per second (for 5 seconds total)
Serpents Quickness (stance)
Cuts 1/3 time off skill recharge for25 seconds, ends if hp drops below half
Predatory Season (spirit)
Lvl 9 spirit, cuts healing down by 20% lasts 142 seconds
Edge of Extinction (spirit)
Lvl 9 spirit, when things die in its range it deals 48dmg to things of the same type (includes Gunthar and gatekeepers but not the juggernaut) lasts same time as predatory season.
How to use this build:
When you start, keep your Travelers Mask on, go up the orange side and trap the Teleportation pad until either the turtle or your teammates kill the outer orange gate. Use your skills in this order for trapping that teleportation pads:
Spike Trap And Serpents Quickness (at same time)
Dust Trap
Flame Trap
Spike Trap
Then put down the traps as they recharge, keep trapping for a while and eventually the kurzicks become to afraid of traps to use that teleporter.
After the outer gate is down, if the turtle killed it, stand under the open gate and put down a dust trap, followed by a spike trap and agro the kurzick assassins into your traps. The luxon warriors can easily finish off the blinded and crippled assassins.
The ranger is a bit harder.) I usually get a teammate or luxon warrior to go in first and make the ranger attack him) Put a dust trap down at his feet followed immediately by a spike trap, follow it by a flame then barbed, he should be dead by then or dying from the degeneration.
For the kurzick npcs guarding the inner orange gate, I use the same tactic I used on the ranger.
For the warriors just outside the gate use the same trick as what you used versus the assassins. Then go down the stairs and onto the wall with the green gate. (make sure you are out of range of the npcs guarding the gate) Put down a dust trap. Then change to your tamers mask. Put up EoE (Edge of Extinction) and PS (Predatory Season), change back to your travelers mask then turn on Serpents Quickness and put down all your traps at your spirits feet (I find that the smart kurzicks try to attack my EoE spirit so I protect it), make sure you have at many spike, barbed, dust and flame traps on the spirits as you can before Serpents Quickness runs out. Ask your teammates to then rush into the green gate guards, and either kill them or get killed. Once EoE is up, and gunthar or a gatekeeper is in range its pretty easy to get a quick win (with full people on both teams playing, we won in about 2 min) and lots of faction from deaths (I have gotten over 1400 kills today from it, to find kills, lose all your bals faction, go play and divide bals faction by 3).

If your plan has to change:
If the kurzicks take over a mine, rush into the center of the mine cleansers and put down a dust trap while they put up their first spirit, follow dust up with spike then flame. Run out, rinse and repeat till they die.
If your allies are stuck down, place all your traps where you are standing, move for about two seconds, place all your traps again, keep doing that until either you die or can get out.
Its quite funny to lure people into traps and watch them try to walk away from you while bleeding, blinded, crippled and burning then they walk into another set of traps >:)
Note: This is my first guide, the reason for no res skill is that your team gets resurrected quite often (between 2-8 seconds after you die)
I think (done a bit of testing) the range of EoE and PS is about 2 ½ agro circles.
