Weapons: Best are those with chance of reduced recharge for illusion and domination skills.
Armour: If this build is followed correctly, this build won’t encounter too many energy problems, so I advise armour with extra AL against physical, as you are usually targeted first.
This build is designed for pressure. If a caster is suffering from -10 health degen and unable to cast his/her spells without being interrupted, they are more likely to lose the cool and let their guard down.
The key to this build is the combo of Migraine and the interrupts. Migraine makes spells 100% longer to cast, making interrupts easier.
First off cast Migraine, then cast, in this order, Conjure Phantasm; Phantom Pain and Images of Remorse. The caster will have -10 health degen. By this stage the casters are starting to panic; the will cast a spell or two. Interrupt these if you can. The caster will probably start to escape at this moment. If this is the case cast Ethereal Burden. This slows them and gives you energy in the key degen moments. While waiting for Phantom pain and Migraine to Recharge, alternate Conjure Phantasm and Images of Remorse (Unless of course they are already dead). When they have recharged, repeat the process from step 1, including the interrupts. If lack of energy occurs, concentrate on using conjure phantasm, then an interrupt, to keep levels low.
When weak casters have fallen, concentrate on warriors and rangers. Give them the health degen you can, and interrupt their attempts to resurrect fallen party members. This should help other party members to kill them. Ethereal Burden is essential at this stage, for you do not want them to regroup.
The only flaw this build has is the weakness of your character. Inform your monk (preferably protection) heal or protect you as much as possible. If a warrior picks you out, call so, and use occasional degen skills on them. If energy regain is a problem, replace either an interrupt skill or ethereal burden for channelling or energy tap for quick energy.
This build is pvp mainly, but works in pve against large groups, if you do the hit and run tactic with the degen skills. The Necro secondary is not essential but a handy one, when you need to substitute a degen skill; maybe for a low energy cost one.
This build may be flawed as I am new to writing builds. I accept constructive criticism, but not people ripping into me, so do try to keep calm!! I created this build from scratch, with no outside help apart from tips from guild mates, so if this build is in use already or is very popular and I haven’t noticed it (just proves how amazing I really am), then I apologise, but there ain’t nothing I can do about it now.
I would like to credit myself and possibly Electric Torben (from my guild), as are degen team is coming along nicely!!
