It's quick and easy to beat your doppleganger. the skills you will need are (in general):
.NO healing (NONE what so ever this includes endure pain)
.2-3 attacks (Quick casting i.e smite, hunters shot, power attack ect.)
.All other must have a casting time of 2 seconds or more.(mostly useless skills i.e traps)
Next your doppleganger will use all your long casting skills first, at this point you go to work on him with your quick casting attacking skills by the time he is finished casting he would not have enough health to survive the next wave of your short attacks.
This is the easiest way to beat him but not the only one, if you dont beat him first time then don't worry, you will beat him eventually.
