Skills
Cyclone Axe - Axe Attack
Perform a spinning axe attack striking for 4-10 more damage against all adjacent opponents. (Axe Mastery)
Executioner's Strike - Axe Attack
If this attack hits, you strike for 10-34 more damage. (Axe Mastery)
Penetrating Blow - Axe Attack
If this attack hits, you strike for +5-17 damage. This attack has 20% armor penetration.
Disrupting Chop - Axe Attack
If it hits, this attack interrupts the target's current action. If that action was a skill, that skill is disabled for an additional 20 seconds.
Distracting Blow - Melee Attack
Swipe your weapon at the target, doing no damage but disrupting the target's current action (and the actions of foes adjacent to your target).
Healing Hands {Elite} - Enchantment Spell
For 10 seconds, whenever target ally takes damage, that ally is healed for 5-29 Health.
Or
Orison of Healing - Spell
Heal target ally for 20-60 points.
Sprint - Stance
For 8-13 seconds, you move 25% faster.
Mending - Enchantment Spell
While you maintain this "Enchantment", target ally gains health regeneration of +1-3.
Runes
You don’t really need any in particular, I just like having a bunch of health so I bring Sup Vigor and Absorption, Minor Tactics, Strength and Axe Mastery
Attributes
8-Healing Prayers
13-Axe Mastery
Rest in Strength, 11 for me
Armor
Gladiator’s for the energy bonus and 1 piece of Knight’s for the damage reduction bonus.
Weapons
Any relatively good axe, I use Victo’s Battle Axe personally.
Shield
Any damage reduction one, I use Malinon’s Shield
What to do
I run it from ToA (Temple of Ages) for starters. It isn’t a very good money maker, I just like to take a group that has been recruiting for a while and run it for them in around 10 minutes, as it is a lot more fun than doing a Droks run, IMO. When you first head out of ToA, cast Mending. For directions reference this map below.
When you start seeing Forest Minotaurs, about a minute or so up on your left will be the portal to Kessex Peak. After you zone in, cast Mending again. This part of the run is much tougher, and you should go out of your way to avoid the poisoned waters as much as possible as they will negate the benefits of Mending. If your health gets below half way, you should do a quick heal and keep on going. You will want to keep Mending up as long as possible, I haven’t encountered any enchantment strippers, but if it is stripped simply recast and then Sprint. You also will want to Sprint as much as possible here. When you see some Fen Trolls at the end of the swamplands, you have completed the hardest part. Follow the route laid on the map below south to a little plateau where you will see various minions of Verata. Here, hug the inside of little ramp up towards Galrath to try to avoid the spellcasters on your left. If you do draw there aggro, Sprint immediately towards Galrath, but they will likely hit you with a slowing hex. Move around a little while hexed, but try not to aggro anymore of the minions. Heal as necessary. When the icon starts to blink use Sprint and run up to Galrath. Now, just attack Galrath for all you’re worth. Use Cyclone Axe to gain adrenaline from his 4 or 5 followers to power up your Executioner’s Strike and Penetrating Blow. Don’t try to interrupt any of his skills except for Healing Signet. When Galrath is down to roughly half his total health he will use Healing Signet. Use your Disrupting Chop preferably because of the added recharge to the Healing Signet, but if you don’t have enough adrenaline saved up, use Distracting Blow. If you land Disrupting Chop then he will not be able to use Healing Signet again until he is nearly dead. If you got him with Distracting Blow then he will use Healing Signet in about 6 seconds or so. Just continue to interrupt his Healing Signet, and he should quickly die.
Enjoy, Annoy Mous
